Trey Johnson started at Tulsa Band & Guitars in 2014 as a Sales Representative and was promoted to General Manager in 2017, and became full owner in 2018 where he is now responsible for all the day-to-day operations of Tulsa Band & Guitars, LLC. Trey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the University of Tulsa, has been a trumpet player since 1998, a guitarist since 2008, and fronts a rock band called "Marking Strangers" which released an album in 2015 entitled "Into the Clouds". The music video for "Into the Clouds" was featured on social media of NPR in 2015 as a part of their Tiny Desk Contest.
Paul Felzke has nearly four decades of experience repairing and refurbishing brass, woodwinds, and string instruments and has been serving the Tulsa area since he founded Tulsa Band in 1985. Paul is a graduate of Western Iowa Repair Tech School in Sioux City, IA. Through his years, Paul has earned a reputation for maintaining the highest quality standard of instrument repair and service in Oklahoma.
Tim Clark is one of our guitar and pedal experts here at Tulsa Band. He's been playing guitar since he was 10 years old. He plays shows and tours regularly with his band "Downward". Tim graduated from Riverfield Country Day School, and went on to study music business at UCO as well as sound engineering at TCC. An avid gear-head and guitar collector, he would be happy to answer any gear questions you may have!
T.J. Spear, a Tulsa native, has been playing guitar since he was ten years old. In high school, T.J began developing a serious interest in understanding the details of guitars and electronics. He graduated from Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery in 2009 and began working at Tulsa Guitar Electronics in 2013. We are very proud to now have his shop located at Tulsa Band & Guitars, where T.J. offers a wide range of guitar repair services.
